Spain has the third highest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world, after Italy and China

Spain has the third highest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world, after Italy and China. Within a few hours drive of Marbella we have some of the world’s greatest cultural sites.  Places like the world famous Alhambra in Granada. The amazing Mosque in Cordoba. Cadiz, the oldest city in the western world and former capital of Spain.  Malaga the birthplace of Picasso.

Andalucia has a very rich and colourful history. I will share some interesting cultural facts about these places in future emails.

Here in Marbella you can find some of the world’s most famous artists’ original works.

Several of Salvador Dali’s beautiful bronze sculptures are here.

You will find them on Marbella’s Avenida Del Mar.

And of course, culture is not only arts and buildings. Spain has it’s own rich culture and history to explore.

As a globally recognized amazing place to live, Marbella attracts a unique cultural mix.  If you wish to, you have the opportunity to socialize with people like you from all around the world. Dinner parties tend to be very global. You will enjoy comparing and enjoying international cultural differences with new friends.

In my next few articles, I will let you know about some of the great things to do in Marbella. I would like to recommend a few things to experience and do here. If you love outdoor activities, Marbella and its surrounding areas are the place to be.
